Normal Rabbit Serum (NRS) is the component of blood that does not contain erythrocytes or leukocytes nor clotting factors. All other non-clotting proteins remain in the serum making it a useful reagent for blocking of blots or wells. Normal Rabbit Serum is non-sterile and not ammenable to cell culture.

Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.? Normal Rabbit Serum (NRS) is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid.? Dilute only prior to immediate use.
