DNase I is a nuclease that cleaves DNA preferentially at phosphodiester linkages adjacent to a pyrimidine nucleotide, yielding 5'-phosphate-terminated polynucleotides with a free hydroxyl group on position 3', on average producing tetranucleotides. It acts on single-stranded DNA, double-stranded DNA, and chromatin. In addition to its role as a waste-management endonuclease, it has been suggested to be one of the deoxyribonucleases responsible for DNA fragmentation during apoptosis. BioVision’s DNase1 ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of DNase1 in human serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of DNase1 captured from the samples.
產(chǎn)品特點
Easy, convenient and time-saving method to measure the level of DNase1 in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, culture supernatants and other biological fluids.
Detection Range: 0.156 - 10 ng/ml
Sensitivity: < 0.094 ng/ml
Assay Precision: Intra-Assay: CV < 8%; Inter-Assay: CV < 10%
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of DNase1. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between DNase1 and analogues was observed.
