Alcohol Dehydrogenase (ADH1A) is family of proteins that metabolizes a variety of substances such as ethanol, retinal, other aliphatic alcohol, hydroxysteroids, and lipid peroxidation products. With the coenzyme NAD, ADH catalyzes the reversible conversion of organic alcohol to ketones or aldehydes. ADH plays a major role in ethanol metabolism. BioVision’s ADH1A ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of ADH1A in human serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of ADH1A captured from the samples.
產(chǎn)品特點
Easy, convenient and time-saving method to measure the level of ADH1A in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, culture supernatants and other biological fluids.
Detection Range: 0.156 - 10 ng/ml
Sensitivity: < 0.094 ng/ml
Assay Precision: Intra-Assay: CV < 8%; Inter-Assay: CV < 10%
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of ADH1A. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between ADH1A and analogues was observed.
