NY-ESO-1， a member of the CT （cancer/testis） family， is a tumor-specific shared antigen with distinctive immunogenicity. NY-ESO-1 is expressed in testis and ovary and in a wide variety of cancers. It is also detected in uterine myometrium. The expression is from 18 weeks until birth in human fetal testis. Furthermore， in the adult testis， NY-ESO-1 is strongly expressed in spermatogonia and in primary spermatocytes， but not in post-meiotic cells or in testicular somatic cells （at protein level）.
The molecular basis of T cell-mediated antitumor immunity has been elucidated by the identification of a number of tumor antigens recognized by CD8+ T cells. Among these antigens， NY-ESO-1 is of particular interest because both the cytotoxic T lymphocyte and antibody have been shown to react with this antigen.

Sterile Filtered clear solution. NY-ESO-1 at 100ug/ml in 50mM Tris-Acetate， pH7.5， 1mM EDTA and 20% Glycerol.

Store vial at -20℃ to -80℃. When stored at the recommended temperature， this protein is stable for 12 months. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
