BAALC gene is found in patients with acute myeloid leukemia and is conserved among mammals and is not found in lower organisms. Tissues which express BAALC develop from the neuroectoderm. BAALC is located both in the membrane and in the cytoplasma， it exists as multiple alternatively spliced isoform. BAALC is expressed by hematopoetic and neural cells， BAALC interacts with CaMKII? and is involved in synaptic function at postsynaptic lipid rafts. Overexpression of BAALC concomitant forecast adverse clinical outcome and defines a significant risk factor in cytogenetically normal acute myeloid leukemia （AML）.

Sterile filtered colorless solution. The protein solution contains 20mM Tris buffer pH-8， 1mM DTT， 20% glycerol and 2mM EDTA.

保存建議

Store at 4℃ if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store， frozen at -20℃ for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein （0.1% HSA or BSA）. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
