The kit contains 100ml of each of five SFM including BRFF-BMZERO, BRFF-EPM2, BRFF-P4-8F, DMEM/F12 and IMDM along with 25ml of FNC Coating Mix. Each of the media are supplied as complete ready-to-use preparations.S1010-72A: Epithelial (Human Breast) Serum Free Media (BRFF BMZERO)Complete serum-free medium designed to grow human breast cells. This SFM was originally used for establishing new epithelial cell lines from explants of human breast tissue and to grow immortalized normal breast cell lines. This medium is a good first choice when switching from serum containing medium to serum free or for the cultivation of primary cultures. For optimum cell attachment, use FNC Coating Mix?.S1010-72B: Epidermal Cell Serum Free Media (BRFF EPM2)Complete serum-free medium designed to grow human epidermal-like cells. This SFM formulation was originally optimized for human esophageal epithelial cells. Explant cultures of human skin in BRFF-EPM2 yields outgrowths of epithelial cells. This medium is also useful for culturing a number of human cancer cell lines. For optimum cell attachment, use FNC Coating Mix?.S1010-72C: Prostate Cell, Immortalized Normal, Serum Free Media (BRFF P4-8F)Designed to grow the immortalized normal prostatic cell line 267-B1.4 It also supports the growth of certain established human prostatic cancer cell lines such as PC-3. For optimum cell attachment, use FNC Coating Mix?.S1010-72D: DMEM and Ham's F12 Serum Free Media (DMEM/F12)DMEM/F12 is a serum-free medium formulation for general use. This formulation is a 1:1 blend of DMEM and Ham's F12 media supplied complete, ready-to-use with L-glutamine, Hepes, BPE and EGF for culturing a wide range of cell types. Contains no phenol red or antibiotics.S1010-72E: Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium Serum Free Media (IMDM) Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium (IMDM) is a standard serum-free medium. It is supplemented with BPE and EGF and cotains L-glutamine and Hepes but no phenol red or antibiotics.S1010-72F: Cell Attachment Reagent (FNC Coating Mix, BRFF AF-10)Formulated to dramatically increase the attachment of cells to the plastic growth substratum used for culturing mammalian cell lines. Many fastidious cell types such as human prostate and breast epithelial cells plated in the appropriate serum-free medium will attach and grow more effectively on FNC-coated plastic surfaces.All SFM are ready-to-use with all necessary growth factors.
