Solubility: Soluble in water. The contents of this vial have been accurately determined. Both the stopper and the vial have been siliconized. Do not attempt to weight out a smaller portion of the contents. C-Type Natriuretic Peptide is produced in the hypothalamus. anterior pituitary. and most major endocrine glands. C-Type Natriuretic Peptide has potent venodilatory and coronary vasodilatory effects. but minimal effects on renal function.
Function: Vasorelaxant activity. Has a cGMP-stimulating activity.
Subcellular Location: Secreted protein.
