AZDye 680 (Alexa Fluor ? 680 equivalent) is a bright and photostable near-IR dye that is spectrally identical to Alexa Fluor? 680, IRDye? 680RD and Cy5.5. AZDye 680 is often used for small animal imaging applications in the 700 nm wavelength and provides excellent clearance profiles in animals. Flow cytometry is another common application for this dye. AZDye 680 ideally suited for the 633 nm laser line. This near-IR fluorescent dye is water soluble and pH-insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10. The long wavelength emission allows for detection in complex samples with auto-fluorescent background signals.nnAZDye? 680 DBCO is a bright, far-red-fluorescent, probe routinely used for imaging of azide-containing biomolecules without the need for copper catalyst. AZDye? 647 DBCO reacts with azides via a copper-free “click chemistry” reaction to form a stable triazole and does not require Cu-catalyst or elevated temperatures. In application where the presence of copper is a concern AZDye? 647 DBCO is an ideal alternative to copper requiring fluorescent alkynes.nnAZDye? 680 is structurally similar to Alexa Fluor? 680, and spectrally is almost identical to Cy5.5 Dye, Alexa Fluor? 680, CF? 680 Dye, or any other Cyanine 5.5 based fluorescent dyes. nnAlexa Fluor? is a registered trademark of Thermo Fisher Scientific.
